ANDREAS FELGER – PAUSA TEXTILE DESIGNS 1960-1975
18.10.2026 – 18.4.2027
Pausa Tonnenhalle Mössingen

Andreas Felger (born in 1935 in Mössingen-Belsen) is now renowned as a painter, sculptor and glass artist. What is less well known, however, is that his artistic career began at the age of 14 at the Mössingen-based textile printing firm PAUSA, initially as a printer’s apprentice and later in the pattern-drawing department. Thanks to the support of the company’s director, Willy Häussler, he was able to study art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. As a result, he became one of Pausa’s most important and prolific textile designers from the 1960s onwards. The exhibition presents a wide range of sketches and textile designs from the 1960s and 1970s, showcasing Andreas Felger’s great talent.

We look forward to welcoming you.
