Andreas Felger turned ninety on January 1, 2025

– an occasion to celebrate the artist and his work with his companions, friends of his art, and those interested in discovering his work! For an entire year, visitors will be able to experience facets of the extensive and multifaceted oeuvre of the painter, graphic artist, and sculptor from Mössingen-Belsen.

The opening will take place at Villa Eugenia in Hechingen, where Andreas Felger’s paintings have been welcome guests in the past. In 2011, the artist exhibited Landscape as Inspiration – Travel, Nature, and Landscape Themes from Five Decades here, in 2017 Andreas Felger. Painting with oil paintings from 20 years, and in 2019 Andreas Felger. Woodcuts with a retrospective of his graphic work. This retrospective focus of the exhibitions will continue in 2025, but the range of themes will be considerably expanded: depictions of the artist by himself, which he has created using various techniques over the past 60 years, will be shown alongside abstract relief-like acrylic and oil paintings created in recent years, as well as current works with references to his Swabian homeland, to literature as well as music.
