WERK.STOFF – The Textile in Art

On the occasion of the artist’s 80th birthday in 2015, the Andreas Felger Kulturstiftung is showing the exhibition “WERK.STOFF. Andreas Felger – The Textile in Art” in M\u00f6ssingen’s Pausa-Quartier.<\/p>\n

Felger’s multifaceted artistic oeuvre is brought together here for the first time with his creative beginnings as a textile designer: fabric designs and textiles from the time he worked for Pausa AG enter into dialogue with selected oil paintings, watercolours, woodcuts and sculptures.<\/p>\n

The fact that the barrel hall, the historic Pausa hall for fabric-printing in the listed ensemble of the former textile company, could be made available by the city of M\u00f6ssingen as an exhibition space creates an ideal link between the historical location and the current presentation.<\/p>\n
